The Effect of Band-Gap on TiO2 Thin Film Considering Various Parameters

چکیده

The aim of this work is to measure the effect band-gap on TiO2 thin films by changing tetrabutylorthotitanate (TBOT), diethanolamine (DEA), and temperature. sol-gel method experimentally introduced find out better varying concentration TBOT (4 ml 10 ml), DEA (2 5 temperature (350°C 650°C). With help an ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer for wavelength 300-900 nm, these are characterized concerning optical properties (transmittance spectra, absorbance direct band-gap, indirect band-gap). band-gaps found 3.38 eV 3.25 respectively, which close or within standard range (3.2 3.35 eV) at 8 TBOT, 3 DEA, a 550°C.
